Who we are
FROM AUDIOVISUAL TO MULTIMEDIA
1991, Trimaran was founded in Paris by Olivier Emery and Long Courrier Vidéo, post-production branch outfit of the company Le Sabre, specialized in audiovisual production for TV series. The initial market targeted was 3D animation presentations for television and corporate.
1994, Trimaran became 100% privately owned and totally independent.
1997, new development meant new offices : Trimaran has been located at 97 rue Jean Jaurès, in Levallois-Perret. First tricks for the TV series "All aboard" with 80 shots with VFX.
2004, recovery of R&D in the field of covering TV for real-time news and sports programmes.
2007, Trimaran offers 2 activities : a 3D / VFX studio for feature films, series and corporate films and R&D software development department around real time graphics rendering for television (news and sports programmes). With the release of new GeoRacing applications for live tracking and visualization of outdoor sports.
2014, Trimaran was proud to receive a IAMB Design & Innovation Award during IBC in Amsterdam for it’s GeoRacing Live Virtual Timing and Ghost View developed on the WRC for Canal+.
2015, " White Soldier " by Erick Zonca for Breakout Films, has received an international Emmy Award for the best mini series; the VFX was done by Trimaran.
We receive 3 nominations at the Genie Award at Paris Images Digital Summit, among wich 2 for the best VFX of the year with movies "White Soldier" and "White Trap" and 1 nomination for the best innovation of the year with Georacing.
2016, Trimaran has been located to its office in Vanves (close to Porte de Vanves & Paris Montparnasse), with a 400m2 studio. A great place to work on VFX and innovation real time graphics projects.
2020, « Blood Machines » a sci-fi movie directed by Seth Ickerman with more than 500 shots with VFX supervised by our team has received the Best VFX Environnement Genie Award at Paris Images Digital Summit.
Olivier Emery, founder of the studio, has received an Visionnary Award during the same festival for all his carrier in computer graphics and visual effects.
2021, « Legends of the Pharaohs » a docudrama series produced for SmithSonian (USA) and Canal+/Planète (France) is selected for the Best VFX Environnement Genie Award at Paris Images Digital Summit 2021.
